These terms govern your use of this website and your enquiries through it. By using the site you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

What this website is

This website describes metal roof repair services offered in Tucson and Pima County, Arizona. It is informational. Nothing on it is an offer, a contract, a quotation, or a guarantee that any particular work can be carried out on any particular property.

The information here is general, not advice about your roof

Everything on this site, including the advice articles, is general information about how metal roofs behave and fail in this climate. It is not an assessment of your roof and it should not be treated as one.

Roofs vary enormously in construction, condition, age and access. Anything written here may not apply to yours. No diagnosis can responsibly be made without somebody physically inspecting the roof in question, and nothing on this site constitutes such an inspection.

Safety

Several pages on this site describe what a homeowner can safely do from inside a building during a leak. Nothing on this site is an instruction or an encouragement to climb onto a roof, and we advise against it explicitly and repeatedly.

Working on a roof is dangerous. Working on a wet metal roof is considerably more dangerous. You do so entirely at your own risk and we accept no responsibility for injury or damage arising from anyone acting on general information published here.

If water is near electrical fittings or a ceiling is holding water, treat it as a hazard and act accordingly.

Estimates and pricing

No price appears on this website, and no price quoted verbally or by message before an inspection is binding. A figure becomes meaningful only in a written estimate produced after somebody has physically examined the roof.

Estimates are valid for the period stated on them. Where work reveals conditions that could not reasonably have been seen beforehand, such as damage to decking or framing hidden under a roof covering, we will stop, tell you what has been found, and agree how to proceed before continuing.

Scope of what we do

We repair metal roofs. We do not install new metal roofs, we do not carry out full roof replacement, and we do not work on tile, clay, concrete, asphalt shingle, spray polyurethane foam or built up flat roofing.

Where an inspection shows that a roof requires work outside that scope, we will tell you so. We do not carry out that work and we do not act as an intermediary for anyone who does.

Workmanship

We carry out work to a professional standard using materials appropriate to the application.

Your responsibilities

If you ask us to look at a roof, you confirm that you are the owner of the property or authorised by the owner to arrange work on it. You agree to give us safe access, to tell us about known hazards such as unstable structure, solar equipment or previous repairs, and to give us accurate information about the history of the roof.

Intellectual property

The text, photographs and other content on this website belong to us. You may read, share and link to it. You may not republish it as your own.

Third party links

Where this site links to another website, that site is not under our control and we are not responsible for its content or its privacy practices.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by Arizona law, our liability arising from your use of this website is limited. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from reliance on general information published here. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Arizona.

Changes

We may update these terms. The effective date at the top of the page will change when we do.
